The Gender and Sexual Health Project, carried out within the scope of Sabancı University Civic Involvement Projects (CIP 101) course, has been awarded an Honorable Mention in The MacJannet Prize for Global Citizenship, organized by the Talloires Network of Engaged Universities. The project was selected among 45 applications submitted by 34 universities across 21 countries, achieving a significant international accomplishment.

Aiming to raise awareness in the fields of gender equality and sexual health, the project promotes active student engagement through student-led workshops, collaborations with relevant institutions and organizations, and various awareness-raising activities conducted both on and off campus.
This international recognition has significantly contributed to the global visibility of Sabancı University Civic Involvement Projects’ educational approach, which places student leadership at its core, as well as its initiatives focused on social impact and strengthening university–community engagement.
This achievement is the result of the collective efforts not only of the students currently involved in the project, but also of the graduate supervisors who have led and contributed to its development over the years. We sincerely thank all current and former supervisors, as well as overvisor students, for their dedication, commitment, and valuable contributions to the project.
